Within the framework of BORGES, ESR3 will develop a platform for simultaneous electrical and optical detection of biomolecular recognition and binding events using such approach for the ultra-sensitive detection of small analytes (toxins) in samples of food stuff and for odorants. He/She will elucidate molecular determinants to surface double layer potential and corresponding current changes in gFETs.
