Pooya Azizian was born at 05 May 1988 in Tehran, the capital of Iran. He has acquired a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with concentration on fluid mechanics at July 2015 from the Babol Noshirvani University of Technology in Iran. Since February 2017 to November 2018, he served in his hometown conscription. However, his enthusiasm for science made him motivated to continue his personal research even during performing his tasks unrelated to science, and it has resulted in publishing some peer-reviewed papers in the renowned international journals in different publishing groups like ELSEVIER, NATURE, AIP, etc. in the field of microfluidics.

Currently, Pooya is going to join the Leitat Technological Center in Spain under the BORGES training network in Jan 2020 as a Marie Skłodowska Curie fellow and Ph.D. candidate to work on the project of 3D microfluidics multiphysics models for simulation and fabrication of microfluidics for biosensing using additive manufacturing.
