Anatolii was born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine. In 2016, he completed a Master’s degree in Laser Technology from Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Ukraine. In 2019, he received his second Master’s degree in Photonics from Friedrich-Schiller University of Jena, Germany. During his studies, he had an opportunity to work at Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technologies (IPHT), at the department of Nanobiophotonics, and Fraunhofer IOF, in the Inkjet printing group at the department of System Integration. At Fraunhofer IOF, he started as a research assistant and focused on the printing of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) for disposable lab-on-a-chip systems. The obtained results paved the way for the first yellow fully inkjet printed OLEDs and allowed him to write a Master’s thesis at Fraunhofer IOF.
Anatolii joined RISE, the department of Printed Electronics in Norrköping, Sweden, in November 2019, where he will work as an Early Stage Researcher within the BORGES project. At RISE, he will evaluate different manufacturing processes for electrolyte-gated transistors, both OECTs and EGOFETs, on different substrates as well as explore the impact of different device architectures and ink formulations on the device performances. (Bio)sensor applications are of main interest within the BORGES project, but general knowledge about materials, manufacturing, characterization and switching behaviour of electrolyte-gated transistors will be generated throughout the project.
